I'm Annka (26 years old) and I've been making music for as long as I can remember. He started singing and playing keyboards at the age of 4. Later I switched to the piano, sang in several choirs, went to a music high school and took singing lessons. At the age of 12 I wrote my first song and started to improvise on the piano. I continue to do this to this day. For a very long time I didn't dare to go public with my music and continued it as a hobby alongside my studies. But recently I decided to share my music and released my first single "Illusion" in April 2021. The second single "Mirror of the Soul" followed in July 2021 with a slightly rockier sound. In August my first German song "Küstenkind" was released, which I had written for the "Your Song for MV" competition. In November 2021 my first EP "Autumn Leaves" was released, which heralded the transition from autumn to winter with calm acoustic sounds. This also appeared on CD with "Illusion" and "Mirror of the Soul" as bonus tracks.

The year 2022 started with the release of the song "Nobody's Perfect". In March 2022 the first single "Forest of Fear" from the EP "Imagination" planned for August was released. Thereon In contrast to the quiet "Autumn Leaves" EP, there will be more electro pop songs to be heard.

In addition to the releases of my songs, I was able to celebrate some successes in 2021. "Illusion" was played on Radio HSF, Radio Lotte and Soulbeats (Dutch radio) and was able to stay in the charts on Radio LOHRO in Rostock for a maximum of 12 weeks.

With my song "Küstenkind" I ended up among the top 5 submissions at "Euer Song für MV" and also had my first performance there in the inner courtyard of Schwerin Castle. "Mirror of the Soul" was also played on Radio Lotte and Soulbeats and, like "Illusion", was able to stay in the LOHRO charts for a maximum of 12 weeks (6 weeks in the top 10 and 1 week at number 1).

In addition, in September I was happy to receive an invitation from the successful Depeche Mode cover band "Forced To Mode" to appear in Erfurt as a support act in front of an audience of over 250 people. Two smaller appearances followed at ZEBEF in Ludwigslust and at BLM Studio in Rostock.

Unfortunately, the concert scheduled for January in the Rostock music living room had to be postponed to July 2022 due to Corona.

So far, 3 collaborations with beat producers and rappers are scheduled for 2022, but also some in-house productions that are more in the direction of Electro Synth Pop.

about my music

I describe myself as a singer-songwriter, whereby the style of my songs is very different and depends on the emotions. I usually accompany myself to my songs on the piano or keyboard, sometimes on the guitar.

Thematically, my songs revolve around life and time, are sometimes socially critical and usually have a touch of melancholy.
