Tom Allan, son of a British soldier and a German mother, meets Evan "The Strangest" Beltran, a Mexican who emigrated from the USA, in a bar in 2012. The two immediately philosophize about their love for the guitar music of bands like Libertines, Oasis, The Clash and Radiohead, eventually becoming best friends and forming "Tom Allan & The Strangest". They start giving pub concerts in pairs, touring independently with their music through smaller and larger pubs and clubs in Germany and are discovered by a label in 2015. They scale up, get a bassPlayers and drummers joined the band and since then the success has not been lacking - in 2019 they released their debut album "Dear Boy", played in addition to their own headline tours as the support act for Mando Diao, released their second album "Little Did They Know" in 2020, played twice at the WDR Rockpalast and now the third album is already in the starting blocks.
After a successful headline tour in autumn 2021 and the upcoming album, the guys want to "back to the roots" again this summer. The two of them tour through smaller clubs in Germany and give pub concerts like they did at the beginning of their career. They want to travel without a lot of equipment, be close to the audience and (because that's not always possible at big concerts) put the songs and the audience in the foreground.
