Rainer Maria Rilke and HOW TO HYPNOTIZE A SNAKE ?
The actor Lars Rudolph is often on TV in crime scene, police call or in films like
the Wixxer, He's back, Lola is running - he's in the ensemble of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg and is now on tour with texts by Rainer Maria Rilke and music.
In it, Lars Rudolph examines, based on quotes and poems by Rilke, for example:
Whether the terrible thing in us is basically the helpless thing that wants help from us...
In addition, new compositions by him and Thilo Schölpen will be played: on trumpets (Rudolph) and Schölpen (piano).
The two met on a study trip to India, where they studied the music of the snake ritual and snake conjuring. This experience had a very formative influence on their music, which also led to the naming of their duo.
