Miss Frey likes to think about this and that and prefers to pack her insights into entertaining lightness. Her German-language singer-songwriter pop songs are anything but superficial. The songs have depths and make waves, just like the Baltic Sea where the musician grew up and the Elbe, on the banks of which she feels at home in Hamburg. A seagull is just drawn to the water.
With charm and wit, Fräulein Frey lets pointed texts fly that want to get to the bottom of the piñata of life. It's about searching and finding. The best find is often one that we weren't even looking for. That's perhaps also the case with Miss Frey's songs. Suddenly they are there to stay.
With her clear and powerful voice, Fräulein Frey masters the loud and the soft tones and likes to bathe in harmony-loving pop arrangements. Whether solo, in a duo or with a band - with her naturalness and joy of playing, the musician makes every stage, whether small or large, her own.
In November 2017, the native of Hamburg made her debut with the album "Hallo Leben" (iM / Janetomat Records), which was created in collaboration with her band at the time. Since 2019, the singer-songwriter has mainly been traveling solo and in a duo with her brother, writing new songs with him. The single "Apfelbaumgarten", a guitar pop song released in July 2020, offered a foretastens fein opens for the past and the familiar. Live, the musician has a lot of fresh song material in her luggage and thus arouses anticipation for upcoming new releases in 2022.
