For a long time, their cell phones were too old to install Instagram, but now they are the number 1 influencer in Woltmershausen: Bube makes pop sexy again, ergo sexy pop. Or to be more precise: retro pop with glitter. The 4 vehement slow-life advocates from Leipzig don't care much about their image, but make music according to their taste.
Ever since brothers Jay Q and Mat Q got caught by illegally burned CDs by Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder and John Mayer when they were children, there has been no stopping them. Always looking for the perfect groove, the tightest bass line or the most beautiful melody, they end up at the Music College in Leipzig after a pseudo-like school career, where they get to know and love their soul brothers TJ and Joe. The quartet has been complete since 2020 and leaves no pore dry at their concerts.
After a tour and two live sessions, they release their first produced single "Satellite" in June. The name says it all: boys blow your lovesickness into the stratosphere and make your ace of hearts dance. With a mixture of old school disco funk, 80s synthesizers and Jay Q's ambiguous lyrics, the boys bring a breath of fresh air to the dusty scene. And have so much fun doing it that you want to jump in to the moves in the music video. "I'm a satellite, no one can get me, I'm hard to get!"
